Get the Security of Industry-Leading Warranties
Every Comfortmaker® home comfort product is backed the way it’s
built—to be the best. Comfortmaker systems come with the confidence of
long-lasting warranties. You can even extend coverage through dealers
who participate in the HELP® (Homeowner’s Extended Labor Program)
extended warranty program.
No Hassle Replacement™ Limited Warranty
The Comfortmaker No Hassle Replacement™ limited warranty assures of
continued comfort—no worries, no questions. You get a replacement unit
if a major component (the compressor, covered coil, or heat exchanger)
should fail during the covered period. Ask your dealer for details.
Standard Warranty
Your Comfortmaker home air conditioner, heat pump, or furnace carries
a limited warranty on all functional parts. Most Comfortmaker units
feature an outstanding 10 year parts limited warranty. Comfortmaker
units featuring R22 refrigerant carry a solid 5 year parts limited
warranty. Other key components, such as heat exchangers, may carry a
longer limited warranty. Look for specific details in the product
description, check the Warranty Certificate, or ask your dealer for
information.
Protecting Your Warranty
You are required to provide proof of yearly maintenance service by a
qualified service technician to keep your warranty valid. The dealer
also needs the serial number and model number of your unit, so keep your
original receipts. For assistance in filing claims, your dealer can
contact the distributor, who is supported by International Comfort
Products, LLC (ICP).

The HELP® Extended Warranty Program Gives You Peace Of Mind!
The Homeowner’s Extended Labor Program saves you any worry about
any bills because it picks up where your parts warranty stops. You can
get five, seven or ten years of added protection. The HELP® extended
warranty covers all labor and all other costs of any repairs due to a
mechanical failure.

FAQs
What if I change dealers?
Your installing dealer is responsible for
service for the first four months. Then the HELP® contract goes into
effect. At that time, if your installing dealer is not available or you
wish to change, there are 20,000 registered HELP® dealers nationwide to
provide you with service.
Is preventative maintenance required?
Like any major investment, such as your
automobile, your heating and cooling system requires routine
preventative maintenance. This maintenance is also required to keep you
in compliance with the standard limited warranty of your equipment. The
HELP® contract does not cover routine maintenance costs, but it does
cover component failures or other repairs not associated with this
routine maintenance.
What does HELP® exclude?
 | Routine preventive maintenance. |
 | All labor charges resulting from a failure
during the first 121 days after installation. The installing dealer
is responsible for all labor charges during this period. After that,
ICP pays your dealer directly for any repair expenses. |
 | Any service call that does not result in a
repair. |
 | Improper installation, misuse, abuse or
neglect. |
 | Consequential damages caused by rust,
oxidation, corrosion, water freezing, fire or other acts of nature. |
 | Any repairs to the equipment's appearance,
paint and cabinet parts, knobs, and buttons. |
 | Any repairs to fuel storage tanks, key
valves, filters, duct work, registers, grilles, clocks, wall-mounted
thermostats, humidifiers, dehumidifiers, external wiring, piping,
venting, electronic thermostats or other accessories not
manufactured or marketed by ICP. |
For a detailed description of exclusions,
please see original contract. For more information, please call your
installing dealer. If you need to contact the Extended Warranty
Department, e-mail us at help@icpusa.com.
